Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Converting Supervisor for a local client in Dover, DE. Candidates who have a background working in the corrugated industry and have a high profecciency operating converting machinery and have lead teams are encouraged to apply. Job Description: The Converting Supervisor will report directly to the appropriate Superintendent. They will supervise approximately 2 – 30 people in the daily routine of producing quality corrugated products safely and productively with minimum waste. Cross-train employees in key positions. Responsibilities: - This position has responsibility for all day-to-day manufacturing operations including safety, quality, waste productivity, and occasional planning and/or shipping associated with the facility or facilities within the span of control. The position contributes to achieving the plant’s sales objectives through the coordination of workflow and product quality.
