We are searching for a Senior Biomedical Technician for our Houston, TX Campus -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform preventative maintenance and repair work on a wide variety of medical equipment, some complex devices, systems, and networks. Think you’ve got what it takes? Qualifications: Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is required for all employees at Texas Children’s, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption. - High school diploma or equivalent required - Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in electronics or biomedical technology preferred - 8 years’ experience in servicing biomedical equipment in a hospital, industrial or military setting - Other electronic equipment service experience can be considered - A bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years of experience - An associate’s degree may substitute for two years of experience Specifics on Skills needed: Texas Children’s presence in Austin helps support a pediatric population of more than half a million and keeps kids healthy and happy from birth to adulthood.
