Regional Transportation Security Manager

Job description

Essential Job Functions: - Develop and implement security policies and procedures for Crane WW transportation operations in coordination with Global Security. - Develop and implement security policies and procedures for transportation and/or high risk/theft attractive cargo. - Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for transportation routes, facilities, and assets. - Oversee security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. - Monitor compliance with local, state, federal, and industry security regulations (e.g., TSA, DOT, TAPA, CTPAT). - Coordinate with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and emergency responders as needed. Investigate security incidents, thefts, and breaches; prepare incident reports, after-action reports, and recommend corrective actions. - Coordinate with relevant personal on access control systems, surveillance equipment, and physical security measures at transportation facilities. - Lead security awareness and training programs for drivers, staff, and contractors. - Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills. - Analyze security data and trends to identify opportunities for impro...
