As a Donor Recovery Technician , you will play a critical role in enabling life changing transplants and research by ensuring the safe and respectful recovery of birth tissue in hospital environments. This is a hands on, patient focused role where technical expertise, compassion, and attention to detail truly make a difference. What will you be doing?: Coordinating and executing birth tissue acquisition in hospital settings for transplant and research use Obtaining informed consent and accurately completing all donor documentation including medical social history Performing aseptic tissue recovery within a sterile field while adhering to all regulatory and quality standards Reviewing medical records and screening donors for eligibility prior to tissue acquisition Coordinating blood sample collection with hospital staff Packaging, labeling, and arranging transport of recovered tissue and blood samples Building and maintaining professional relationships with hospital personnel Managing supplies and maintaining cleanliness and organization of...
