Health Care Tech I (Medical Assistant) - 39692 University Staff Description University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Department: School of Medicine – Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, Pediatric Division Job Title: Health Care Tech I (Medical Assistant) Position #: 00846796 – Requisition #: 39692 Job Summary: The Medical Assistant full-time (40 hours per week) position at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, Pediatric Diabetes Division, will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support at the BDC and as assigned, at outreach clinics. The Medical Assistant is part of the Pediatric Division team. Although this position follows established work processes, they have the authority to determine the procedures required to accomplish the work. This position requires interest in patient care and administrative tasks, the ability to be self-directed, detail-oriented, and adaptable in high-intensity environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required as well.
