About the Role The Steward is responsible for cleaning, maintaining and organizing assigned work areas. We are looking for a Steward to clean our kitchen and support our cooking staff. This is an entry-level job but if you’re good at it, you’ll be invaluable in making sure our kitchen is always sanitized and tidy. Steward responsibilities include washing pots and pans, keeping floors clean, sanitizing food preparation areas and occasionally helping with food prep work. If you think you’ll enjoy the buzz of a busy kitchen, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll help our kitchen adhere to health standards and service customers faster. Position Responsibilities: - Follow all Health Codes (State, Federal, and OSHA requirements) and company guidelines at assigned workstation - Work steadily and accurately, paying attention to detail in accordance with the Health Department codes and Departmental Policies - Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned - Deep clean stoves and kitchen equipment according to procedures - Breakdown, feed, catch, and properly sort all dishes and flatware as it is brought to the dish area - Wash, sort, and store pots and pans in their design...
