Position Overview: - Department : General Radiology - Schedule : PRN - Work Location : UAB St Vincent's Birmingham - Benefits for eligible positions only include : generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Provide services to patients under the direct supervision. - Prepare and position patients and select exposure factors accurately. - Implement radiation protection and safety standards. - Prepare for and assist the supervising technologists and physicians in a variety of imaging procedures. - Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. - Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately. - Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
