Description The Senior Trade Compliance & Logistics is responsible for the development and management of import processes, policies and procedures for the Ridgefield business. Providing guidance to employees and maintaining accurate and complete records. Ensuring compliance with US Customs Regulations. This is a critical role in protecting Boehringer Ingelheim against Custom's fines and penalties and the ability to import goods into the US. Reviews exports to ensure schedule B, valuation and ECCN declaration are accurate to ensure compliant reporting to both US agencies upon export and foreign Customs agencies upon import. Provide backup support for the export program and export compliance. Responsible for managing the CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) program for Boehringer Ingelheim.
