Day Shift Line Worker

Job description

Essential Functions: - Placing sealed individual units in packaging and ensuring proper package sealing. - Repackaging improperly sealed, or coded, product. - Disposing of scrap product and raw materials. - Keeping work area clean. - Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local, and Ziegenfelder environmental, health, and safety directives, policies, and procedures. Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) - Must be 18 years of age or older - Prior experience in food service or production preferred Physical Requirements: - Stand for up to 8 hours per shift - Regularly move and lift items up to 50 lbs. - Perform continuous bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping motions - Work safely around manufacturing equipment with good spatial awareness Working Conditions: - Exposure to noise levels above 85 decibels (hearing protection provided) Compensation & Benefits: - Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour - Schedule: 40 hours per week with consecutive set days off - Benefits: Begin on the first day after 60 days of employment - 401(k) with company matching - Employee discounts - Paid holidays Who We Are: The Armstrong Group is a family owned and operated coll...
