Overview Inpatient Central Business Office Trainer: (on-site role) Our team offers first-shift, Monday through Friday schedules (includes two 15-minute unpaid breaks and one paid 30-minute lunch). Casual work attire is fine – jeans are our norm! The Inpatient Central Business Office Trainer is primarily responsible for all aspects of training for new employees. This position also provides ongoing training to existing staff. They assist CBO Leadership with completing the job duties for current openings and new employees. This position will also be involved in special projects as assigned by the Director of CBO or VP Patient Accounting. Responsibilities: - Trains new IP CBO team members on the policies and procedures of the IP CBO regarding their respective positions. Provides both technical and functional on-the-job training for on-site and remote team members. - Creates and keeps up-to-date all CBO resource material including a Procedural Manual. - Authors a monthly newsletter and other on demand process, policy and payer updates as needed. - Monitors and re-trains employees identified by Leadership. - Provides continued feedback to Leadership for all employees while involved in tr...
