Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic for a local client in Easton, MD. Candidates who have a background working as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial setting are encouraged to apply. Job Summary: Description - In a maintenance capacity, work with operations to ensure the minimization of downtime on packaging lines, facilities, blending equipment and warehousing. - Work with engineering to optimize the efficiency and capability of packaging lines, facilities, blending equipment and warehousing. - Report to the Maintenance Manager as to issues, priorities, part requirements, labor requirements and scheduling of tasks. - Ensure all tasks are completed safely in compliance with all relevant safety codes and regulations. - Work individually or with other maintenance staff (including mechanics, electricians and engineers) on breakdowns, preventative maintenance tasks and/or projects to enhance production efficiency and capability. - Work individually or within the maintenance department to ensure production machines are maintained in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and site based procedures. - Document all work completed and all furt...
