Job DetailsJob Location: Component Production - DFW - Bedford, TX 76021Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High School Diploma / GED EquivalentJob Shift: EveningsJob Category: ManufacturingPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY Reporting to the Manager and Assistant Manager of Production/Labeling, the Production Technician is responsible for the separation of whole blood into blood and blood components (including the proper operation of equipment and the labeling of blood components) for long-term storage or shipment. Functions must be completed in a manner consistent with all applicable standards, procedures, regulations, departmental goals and objectives, and must be in compliance with standards set forth by, but not limited to the following regulatory bodies: FDA, AABB, EU, and OSHA. Regular full-time attendance is required during normal working hours. QualificationsEDUCATION High School Graduate, or GED: EXPERIENCE: Production or manufacturing experience, preferred: SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Must complete training for essential functions within 90 days, as appropriate for the shift assigned.
