Position Title: Procurement Supervisor (Procurement Agent III) - Ames National Laboratory Job Group: Professional & Scientific Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience Job Description: Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: The Ames National Laboratory Procurement Department is responsible for acquiring goods and services for the Laboratory in accordance with the Laboratory’s prime contract with the Department of Energy. In partnership with customers, colleagues, and suppliers, the department procures a broad range of high-quality and cost-effective products and services in support of the Laboratory’s mission. Procurement staff maintain the highest ethical standards consistent with Iowa State University’s Code of Business and Fiduciary Conduct. Procurement seeks two supervisors with senior-level knowledge and experience to join the department. One will lead the purchasing team and the second will lead the subcontracting team.
