Profession (Job Category): Engineering & Science Job Schedule: Full time Remote: No Job Description: The opportunity As a BESS System Architect, you are the technical authority for end-to-end Battery Energy Storage System architecture, spanning grid, electrical balance of plant, batteries, power conversion, automation, software, and services. This is a non-managerial, but a pivotal role within the T&SD organization, critical to both execution excellence and future differentiation. You ensure architectural coherence, technical robustness, and long-term scalability of GPQSS BESS solutions, supporting R&D projects, but as well providing expert support to CoC (tendering & execution), and to Technology and Product Management in roadmap definition. The role requires strong system-level thinking, the ability to author architecture and system specification documents, and credibility to influence multidisciplinary teams without line authority.
