Job Description: - Greet patients and visitors with a customer service mindset - Register patients in the practice management system. - Confirm all appropriate paperwork and demographic information is correct. - Collect identification and insurance cards, copayments, patient balances and have an understanding of medical insurance. - Schedule and create appointments for patients. This includes over the phone, in person and at check-out. - Answer incoming calls, make outgoing calls, redirect calls, check voicemails and answer messages. - Receive packages to distribute, mail letters, make copies, send or receive medical records, send or receive referrals - Answer incoming calls and provide patients with excellent customer service at all times. - Maintaining a clean and tidy front desk reception area.
