Description Session Instructor – School of Music, Dance and Theatre Location: Tempe Campus / Downtown Campus Description: The School of Music, Dance and Theatre on the Tempe campus at Arizona State University invites applications for session instructors to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses online and/or on-campus in: dance, theatre, music theory, music performance, and in popular music, which might include applied instruction, ensemble direction, music product development, songwriting, music production and engineering, and/or music industry. These positions are one-semester appointments, part time, non-benefits eligible with no tenure implications. A typical Summer Instructor course load is one to two classes per session. Teaching duties include: preparing course materials, responding to and evaluating student work, and availability for one-on-one assistance (via weekly office hours for on-campus classes and electronically for online classes). The number of courses is contingent upon needs, funding, and sufficient enrollment.
