DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE: PROPERTY APPRAISER 4, SENIOR CVP: Job Location: Taxpayer Services 1600 W Monroe St. Phoenix, AZ 85007 Posting Details: Salary: $65,000 Grade: 22: Closing Date: 4/24/2026: Job Summary: The Centrally Valued Property Appraiser, Senior conducts the most complex appraisals of all centrally valued properties (CVP) (e.g., electric generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy properties, mines, railroads, pipelines, telecommunications properties, airline flight property, among others), utilizing methods and techniques that comply with Arizona Revised Statutes, standard appraisal methods/techniques, and guidelines and rules of the Arizona Department of Revenue, to produce equitable valuations and uniform allocations of those values for property tax purposes. This role may be called upon as an expert witness to review, discuss, and defend values in informal taxpayer conferences, before both judicial and administrative bodies and formally represent valuations on behalf of the Department and the State.
