Job Details Division: Nucor Building Systems South Carolina Location: Lacrosse , VA , United States Other Available Locations: N/A: Basic Job Functions: - Welding steel structural parts as specified per drawing or print. - Operating grinder to prepare and finish welds. - Operating flip rite. - Operating transfers. - Operating magnetic drill. - Full visual inspection of part ensuring all welds are in place and properly applied. - Effectively communicating with upstream and downstream to address safety, quality and efficiency issues/concerns. - Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
