Job Description: This role is ideal for someone eager to apply their event planning and logistics expertise in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Events Manager will play a key role in executing an ambitious calendar of events that elevate Boston Globe Media’s brands. This position will help drive revenue growth while creating meaningful experiences that strengthen connections with our community. This role will report to the Director of Events and work closely with the Events Program Manager. Responsibilities: Qualifications: The BGMP office is located in downtown Boston, near Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, and is easily accessible by MBTA and commuter rail lines. This position is based in Boston, and candidates should be based in the area or willing to move. The annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $75,000. It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
