Technical Accounting Senior Manager (Hybrid-Reston, VA)

Job description

Our Finance & Accounting Team seeks a Technical Accounting Senior Manager, to lead review of complex transactions and provide accounting guidance to various stakeholders. Success in this role requires a solid understanding of current U.S. GAAP, an ability to research and document complex technical accounting topics, strong communication and analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work independently. This is a hybrid position based in our global headquarters in Reston, VA, and will report to the Senior Director, Accounting Policy. What You Will Do: Analyze unique transactions and prepare technical accounting memos to document accounting positions to ensure proper accounting and disclosure conclusions. Review accounting policies and procedures for ongoing pertinence. Collaborate with other teams (FP&A, Tax, Legal, Operations, Business Developments, Treasury, etc.) to provide technical accounting guidance on various topics including: revenue recognition, software development, business combinations, leases, stock-based compensation, and derivatives.
