Job Description PROJECT COORDINATOR, FLEET RENEWAL INFRASTRUCTURE Term Certain (Approx. 2 years): Victoria: The Opportunity In order to address the challenges brought on by constrained system capacity, aging major assets, and environmental sustainability, BC Ferries is launching a new Fleet Renewal program that will see a large number of new major and minor vessels introduced to the fleet in the near term as well as significant builds and upgrades to shore-based infrastructure and facilities. BC Ferries also intends to undertake an ambitious program of system electrification, enabling large parts of our ferry system to operate on a cleaner and more sustainable energy source. These projects together form the largest capital investment in the company’s history. The Project Coordinator performs a comprehensive range of project, administrative, and technical coordination activities in support of civil, marine, electrical, and building infrastructure projects.
