City/State Woodbridge, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Overview: Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center his hiring a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist for a full time, day shift position in Woodbridge, VA! The schedule is 5 eight-hour days. On Call requirement is a minimum of 8 shifts per month including at least 1 weekend. Must be within 30 minutes of the facility for on call requirements. Sign on bonus up to $20,000 available for qualified candidates! Department Overview: The Cath Lab at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is a 50-person team of monitor techs, cardiovascular invasive techs, registered nurses and patient care staff for additional support. The team sees a mix of inpatient and outpatient and an average of 10 procedures per day. Heart and Vascular has 3 labs for EP, Cardiac and IR at SNVMC. Primary responsibilities include acting as a first assistant to physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and electrophysiology studies.
