Description STOCK CLERK – Grocery: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Stocks and straightens merchandise and supplies. - Rotates merchandise as necessary according to product expiration dates. - Receives and unloads truck deliveries using available equipment and according to established guidelines. - Performs basic housekeeping duties using available equipment, (mops, brooms, floor scrubbing and buffing machines, etc.) - Operates all required tools and equipment in a safe manner except when restricted due to age. - Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. - Standing and/or walking at a rapid pace for extended periods of time to perform job functions. SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS: - Maintains a clean and neat work area. - Unloads groceries from customers shopping cart - Ability to operate cashier equipment/systems - Carries or carts groceries to customer’s car. - Properly bags or packages customers purchases using correct size and quantity of bags. - Performs all essential job functions at an acceptable level of speed and accuracy. - Performs all essential job functions with limited supervision. - Ability to lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds. - Other duties as assigned....
