Clinical Nurse Specialist (Per Diem) -Advanced Practice Nursing Position Summary: At Stony Brook Medicine, a TH Clinical Nurse Specialist designs and implements assessments, interventions, and programs with Patients, Families, Communities, Organizations, Populations, and/or Systems; is a valuable member of our team, who provides clinical services to our patient population. Qualified candidates will demonstrate superior patient care and possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence. Duties of a TH Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Advanced Practice Nursing department may include the following but are not limited to: - Functions as a clinical nursing expert in the specialty area(s) assigned by modeling exemplary advanced practice nursing and patient outcomes. - Consults and collaborates with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
