This job assists in procedures competently and professionally, understands the basic principles of anatomy and physiology associated with GI procedures, and ensures appropriate handling and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Education Required - High school diploma or equivalent. Work Experience: Preferred - Experience with endoscopic procedures. Certifications: Required - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Preferred - Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification obtained through IAHCSMM, Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER), Certification obtained through CBSPD (within 2 years of hire or transfer).
