Department: 37327 Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center - Cancer Care Center Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: The clinic is open Monday-Friday and is typically closed on major holidays. There is an option for schedules to reflect 4, 10-hour shifts. Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Licensure: - Participates in the direct care of patients to promote positive clinical outcomes and documents in the electronic medical record per department standards. - 1)Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of women and men with cancer related health concerns. - 2)Interview and assess new patients for physicians. - 3)Assists physicians per department standards with clinic visits and procedures if needed. - 4)Assists patients and staff in the appointment process to expedite timely appointments. - 5)Provides patients with appropriate education related to prevention, diagnosis, tests, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy, etc. - 6)Teaches patients about the importance of screenings such as mammograms, colonoscopy, etc. - 7)Coordinates testing and expedites results reporting.
