Job Description Job Title: Senior Software Safety Engineer-Aerospace Controls Working Pattern: Full-time: Working location: Remote OR Indianapolis, IN Rolls-Royce is looking for a Senior Control Software Safety Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on flagship Rolls-Royce programs and play a vital role in solving some of the most complex and interesting technological challenges in the industry while being part of a global, multi-disciplinary team. As a Senior Software Safety Engineer-Aerospace Controls , you will develop and maintain the Safety Cases for Electronic Engine Control and Monitoring Systems to ensure the design is single fault tolerant and meets the engine functional hazard rates and all applicable certification requirements. You will be responsible for analyzing software functionality, potential safety hazards associated with software, and developing a robust means of compliance to industry software safety standards. You will support full life cycle development and mentor junior engineers on processes, tools, and technical solutions.
