RWE Americas, LLC To start as soon as possible, full time, permanent Functional area: Operations & Maintenance: Remuneration: Non-Exempt The Solar Farm Technician II is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance across all scopes of an operating power plant. This includes civil, mechanical, and electrical inspection and repair, as well as instrumentation and control (I&C). The role also involves operational duties such as monitoring, controlling, and trending, ensuring proactive work to maximize productivity and generation with a focus on safety and maximizing generation, and ensuring proactive work is prioritized and completed. Role Responsibilities: - Test, maintain, and troubleshoot solar PV electrical and mechanical equipment - Ensure that all tasks are performed safely and by site operating procedures - Complete Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), JSA’s, Permit to Work, and job-specific documentation that is required to conduct inspection, maintenance, and repairs in a safe manner - Proactively look for improvement opportunities to job job-appropriate processes and procedures - Perform data collection and prepare reports to meet reporting requirements - Perform ba...
