Day - 10 Hour (United States of America) This is a Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley job. A Brief Overview: The Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) is a highly skilled individual with a keen and accurate attention to detail. This position is responsible for working with surgeons in the operating by controlling bleeding, suturing incisions and wounds and intervening if complications arise. Locations: Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley What you will do: - Assist surgeon in general and specialized surgeries - Prepare patients for surgery - Provide patient care and support - Administer medications - Practice surgical procedures such as controlling bleeding and suturing incisions, draping, providing exposure and handling tissue. - Prepare all necessary supplies - Position and prepare the patient on the operating table - Monitor the patient’s vital signs and heart rate - Study patient history and health assessments - Perform CPR or other emergency measures if required - The RNFA may only perform as first assis...
