Department: SOM KC Pediatrics (PEDS) Behavioral Pediatrics Position Title: LEND Post Doctoral Fellow - Pediatrics (Behavioral and Developmental Division) Job Family Group: Professional Staff Job Description Summary: This is a one-year fellowship with clinical and research involvement. The Pediatric Behavioral and Developmental Division at the University of Kansas Medical Center is an interdisciplinary university division with a focus on clinical care, training, community outreach, and research related to autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. Under the administrative direction of the MCH Project Director and the clinical direction of the Psychology Discipline Supervisor, the Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow will have the opportunity to be a long-term trainee in the Division's Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental Disability (LEND) interdisciplinary training program. Research areas of emphasis include sensorimotor processes and cognitive abilities in autism spectrum disorder (ASD), structural and anatomical brain differences associated with ASD, gender differences in ASD, and social, language, and cognitive development in infants and young children.
