The opportunity: At Hitachi Energy Figeholm, we manufacture high-quality electrical insulation materials used in power transformers around the world. Our products including boards, laminates, and strips made from pulp play an essential role in ensuring safe and reliable energy systems. We are now looking for a dedicated Process Engineer to help improve and optimize our paper mill operations and the pulp based material manufacturing processes. In this role, you will work closely with production and several other internal functions to strengthen efficiency, quality, and safety across our operations. How you will make an impact Develop and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows to increase productivity and enhance quality. Analyze, design, and carry out tests to collect data that supports decisionmaking. Evaluate and implement new manufacturing equipment. Collaborate with internal functions such as Production, R&D, Quality, and Maintenance to identify improvements and implement changes in the process. Develop and update technical documentation.
