Description Nature of Pharmacy Tech Position: Under the supervision of the Pharmacist in Charge, the Pharmacy Technician will assist in all areas of pharmacy operations, including prescription preparation, sales transactions, customer service, and inventory maintenance. Pharmacist Technician Duties Include but Are Not Limited To: Assist in stages of prescription filling process, including data entry production and sales. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering of medication and supplies Accurately and efficiently enter client and prescription information and submits insurance claims Properly packages and labels prescriptions: Completes sales of prescriptions maintaining confidentiality and HIPPA compliance Assist in shipment or delivery of orders Communicate effectively with clients, prescribers, nurses and other providers Maintain client rights and confidentiality at all times Provide high quality customer service and answer pharmacy related inquiries in person and on the phone Other duties as assigned: Requirements: Knowledge: - High School Diploma - 1-3 years of pharmacy tech experience preferably in a retail setting - Must be certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certi...
