Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned R&D / Product Development Engineer with experience in product and process design, process optimization, validation and scale-up. In this role the successful candidate will work with a project team on New Product Design (NPD) opportunities taking products from concept to production. The ideal candidate will possess experience in process development, a good understanding of catheter shaft manufacturing processes, and the ability to work as part of a cross functional team. The successful candidate will report into the R&D/Product Development team and the position will be based in our Medical HQ in Galway. TE Connectivity’s NPD Engineering Teams are responsible for product and process development of minimally invasive catheter shafts from feasibility through to transfer to operations and commercial release; The NPD team engage with customers to understand the user needs and requirements and work with customer to deliver the solution.
