Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Sonography Technologist for the Radiology Department at Newton Medical Center. Department needs a candidate that can work varied shifts, including weekends and on call. Qualifications/Requirements: - Qualified candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations utilizing state of the art GE equipment & Siemens equipment. - Candidate is required to perform general ultrasound, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, small parts, breast, OB, pelvic and vascular exams. - Effective communications skills and the ability to work well as a team player - Applicant must be comfortable performing exams in an outpatient as well as inpatient and emergency department setting Education: License/Certification: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Graduate of Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program - ARDMS required Relevant Experience: #LI-am1 At Atlantic Health System, our promise to our communities is; Anyone who enters one of our facilities, will receive the highest quality care delivered at the right time, at the right place, and at the right cost.
