Job description

Overview The Systems Administrator supports the US Department of Energy Office of Scientific and Technical Information (DOE OSTI) vision to ensure long-term preservation of and access to DOE scientific and technical information through support of mission system administration. This is an onsite position, in Oak Ridge, TN with no remote option. Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Install, configure, maintain, and monitor Windows server based computer - Complete vulnerability remediation and software - Complete system baseline hardening using DISA - Manage privileged accounts and group memberships in both on-prem and cloud - Deploy and configure mission supporting applications and infrastructure. - Develop the automation of routine and repeatable - Document systems' policies and - Coordinate and communicate activities, status updates, outage notifications and schedule information with clients, other IT personnel, and other team members. - Performs other duties as assigned.
