Description Looking to make extra income this summer while spending time mentoring and having fun with kids? Then being a Seasonal Respite Lead Direct Care Professional at Devereux is for YOU! You belong here. Located in Tucson, AZ, our Respite Program provides temporary relief to primary caregivers while ensuring youth receive care in a safe, structured and nurturing environment. We provide services to individuals from birth to the age of 17, who are experiencing moderate emotional or behavioral difficulties. Youth get to enjoy a wide variety of recreational and enrichment opportunities, including: arts and crafts, roller skating, gardening, movies, arcade, park visits, and community outings (museums, parades, festivals, sporting events)! And, we operate out of residential houses, creating a fun and safe home-like environment for those in our care. The Summer Lead Direct Care Professional (Lead DCP) protects the health and safety of individuals while assisting the Program Coordinators with the supervising, planning, and implementation of program activities while managing children’s behaviors.
