The Sod division of A. Duda & Sons, Inc. is seeking a Sod Foreman to help coordinate and supervise objectives set Supervisor and Farm Management for Oviedo location. Duda is a diversified land company engaged in a variety of agricultural and real estate operations. The family owned and operated company is in its fifth generation of family ownership. Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Help coordinate and supervise stacking, loading, quality control, and pallet inventory/repair as well as loading customer orders. - Help coordinate and supervise, water control ad hand labor as needed ahead of harvesting. - Assist in ensuring all employees receive proper training with equipment maintenance/operation safety. - Help prepare safety reports, workman’s comp forms and payrolls. - Coordinate with sod office to ensure all orders are being filled and communicate any issues with sod quality. - Provide harvesting personnel with safety equipment, drinking water, and other supplies as necessary. - Assist Supervisor and management with other general tasks as directed.
