Phlebotomist

Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Fortuna, CA. Work Schedule : Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, additional hours and rotating weekends may be required. Job Responsibilities: - Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups - Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. - Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner - Process billing information and collect payments when required - Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis - Maintain patient and specimen information logs - Provide superior customer service to all patients - Administrative and clerical duties as necessary - Travel to additional sites when needed Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent - Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License Preferred Qualifications: - 1 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist - Current or prior experience with Labcorp Additional Job Standards: At LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
