Area Manager, Environmental, Health, and Safety Operations

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in program or project management. - 3 years of experience in leadership role(s) with/without direct reports. - Experience implementing and executing environmental, health, and safety management (e.g., ISO 45001 or equivalent) including management of EHS compliance for industrial facilities. - Experience liaising with federal, state, and local authorities regarding EHS issues. Preferred qualifications: - Professional EHS Certifications (e.g., CSP, CHMM, REM, WSHO, FSM). - 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. - Experience managing environmental programs and systems (14001 or equivalent) (e.g., emissions, wastewater, etc.). - Experience working with vendors on improving their EHS programs and driving their performance plans. - Electrical safety experience.
