Job Title Research Officer Job Description: An exciting opportunity is available for a Research Officer to join the Hill Laboratory in the Infection and Global Health Division at Australia’s pre-eminent biomedical research institute. About the position: The position aims to integrate structural and functional knowledge about antibody responses to Streptococcus pyogenes virulence factors to inform development of vaccines and therapeutics. Key responsibilities include characterising antibody recognition of bacterial toxins or vaccine antigens using a range of biophysical techniques. This position will join a multi-disciplinary team, with regular consultation and support from the Laboratory Head (Dr Danika Hill) and team members. Research will be conducted under limited supervision according to agreed work plans, either independently or as a member of a team, and lead the production of publications from that research. This position will involve laboratory research, data analysis, project management tasks, and other administrative tasks to support laboratory operations.
