Position Summary: The Receptionist welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries in a polite and informative manner. Directs visitors and callers by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions. Monitors visitor access and maintains security and emergency awareness. Provides departmental support on projects and tasks as needed. What you will do: Maintains a professional atmosphere in the reception lobby while working cooperatively and courteously with all visitors. Greets and receives visitors, determines the nature of business and answers questions or gives instructions as they approach the front desk. Assists visitors with special assistance requests.
