The Opportunity: We are looking for a pediatric hospitalist to join our team at a community hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska. Wait…keep reading! We are a supportive, tight-knit group of pediatricians with a collaborative, “we’ve got your back” approach. We are seeking the right fit to help care for infants and children needing hospital services in our community. - BC/BE in general pediatrics plus PALS/NRP needed - Approximately 1100 deliveries/year with peds in attendance at high-risk deliveries - 24/7 in-house coverage divided amongst our 7-person team in 12/24 hours shifts with flexibility in scheduling - Full time is 6-7 scheduled 24hr shifts/month (additional shifts/compensation possible) - Ample/flexible days off to help to explore life outside of work - Hospital areas covered: Newborn Nursery, Level 2 NICU, High-risk deliveries, Pediatrics, ED/Surgery consults, Stabilization of patients prior to transport - Attending Physician for intermittent rotating pediatric residents/medical stu...
