CT Technologist 1 TEMPORARY (Non-Benefited) Job Summary: Under supervision, the CT Technologist 1 performs Computed Tomography (CT) scans based on prescribed protocols. The position prepares patients physically and mentally, uses equipment safely, and conducts themselves professionally. The position utilizes National Patient Safety Goals (NSPG), requiring two patient identifiers for each exam. The position maintains radiation safety regulations and immunology protocols. The position works with clinical students as required. Maintains and continues to increase knowledge and experience of routine diagnostic CT exams. Follows HIPAA and corporate compliance guidelines. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Graduate from an accredited American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved program in Radiologic Technology required. One year of experience in Computer Tomography (CT) preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of CT Radiology procedures, CT Scanners, radiation safety, universal precautions, immunology protocols, and general office software and equipment.
