SUMMARY: To provide quality social work services congruent with the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Reporting to the Manager of the Schizophrenia Outpatient Clinic, the registered Social Worker will utilize a full scope providing consultation to interprofessional team members and clinical case management to individuals diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness. QUALIFICATIONS: •Clinical MSW and/or BSW from an accredited university. MSW is preferred •Current registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers •Membership with the Ontario Association of Social Workers an asset •Minimum of two years demonstrated experience completing clinical case management in an outpatient mental health setting. •Demonstrated experience in clinical case management in outpatient agency required •Demonstrated expertise in psychosocial assessment of individuals and families •Demonstrated knowledge in Mental Status Examination and suicide risk assessment •Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, including additional certification in counselling modalities specifical...
