Material Handler

Job description

Qualifications: - Maintain inventory identifiable by labeling and placing material and supplies in stock and must be able to record keep location of inventory - Locate material and supplies by pulling and verifying material and supplies list on production order - Must be accountable for material/supplies distribution and be able to track material locations - Operate pallet jack and stand up/sit down forklift. (needs to be certified) - Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks (boxes may way up to 60 lbs) - Positive attitude - have a positive can-do attitude every day. - Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment. - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. - Must be able to multitask. - Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred - Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form is required - Ability to understand safety requirements and cautions Physical Demands and Work Environment: - The employee frequently is required to walk or stand for long periods of time. - The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
