System Software and Performance Engineer, Silicon

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 4 years of experience with programming in C/C++ or Java, and scripting languages (e.g., Python). - Experience in one or more of the following three areas: linux kernel (e.g., processes, threads, scheduling, syscalls, interrupts and exceptions), toolchains (e.g., compilers, JIT compilation and symbolization) or, android system software stack. - Experience conducting full-stack performance analysis and optimization on software systems. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture. - Ability to diving into new technical territories. - Ability to be a fast and effective learner. - Ability to be comfortable and work on issues with ambiguity.
