Job Summary The Supervisor Rehabilitation Therapy is a working team member who is also responsible for providing leadership and oversight to a team of rehabilitation staff, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, certified occupational therapy assistants, physical therapist assistants, rehab aides and other rehab team members. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services that meet the standards of the organization and regulatory agencies. The Supervisor assumes responsibility and accountability for department operations and rehab staff. Core Job Responsibilities: - Coordinates therapy schedules, staffing levels, workflow and department resources. - Provides patient care within the guidelines of state and professional agency’s Scope of Practice. - Serve as a resource and role model to therapy staff. - Monitor patient documentation to ensure it aligns with best practices and hospital standards. - Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize care plans. - Follow health system policies and regulations, ensuring all activit...
