Department: 08502 AMG Trinity Neighborhood Care Site - NCSs Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday- Friday Clinic Hours 8 am- 8pm: Occasional Weekends: Floating Between Locations: Reliable Transportation Needed: Pay Range: $21.85 - $32.80 Major Responsibilities: - Performs all the functions of a Medical Assistant I Med Grp such as preparing and rooming the patient, clinical integration focus, performing laboratory procedures, assisting the Physician/Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) with procedures and administering routine medications, under Physician/Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) orders or medical group approved standing order/protocol. - Follows through with necessary procedure or test requests, pre-approved care algorithms, new appointment times and referrals to other facilities or services. Refers questions to Registered Nurse and Physicians/APC per scope of practice guidelines and relays information back to patient as directed. - Communicates with Physician/APC and other members of the health care team to ensure smooth clinic flow and adjusts as necessary.
