Job Summary: - Prepares sterile and non-sterile products in adherence to USP and hospital policies and procedures. - Under the supervision of the Pharmacist, performs calculations required for the preparation of sterile and non-sterile products. - Demonstrates working knowledge of preparation of common dose forms including intravenous (IV) infusions, syringes, capsules etc. - Assists in training of pharmacy staff, in conjunction with the area supervisor or designee. - Follows USP guidelines for IV room cleaning, maintenance and monitoring. - Maintains all required training competencies. - Processes outpatient and inpatient investigational prescriptions utilizing the...
