Senior Software Engineer, Google Distributed Cloud, Kubernetes

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, specifically with Go and Kubernetes. - 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture for distributed systems. - 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role with software design and architecture; leading tech design and driving team execution. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. - 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. - 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role driving new products from design to execution. - Experience developing accessible technologies. - Experience building or managing platforms on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and collaborating in data-motivated decisions in a matrixed organization. - Experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
